B.S.E. (A Needed Global Standard) - The 3-Point Conversation

It's a bird's-eye view of human activity and the sound foundational strategy for much-needed universal standards for any development directive and any self-destruction-prevention directive for an advanced or advancing civilization, for the biosphere (biology, ecology, and ecosystems), social freedom, as well as economic opportunities via objectively and effectively educated democracies with an unbiased, untampered epidemiologic, biological, and ecological perspective.

It sets a simple yet universally compatible standard for infrastructure, industrial production regulation, chemical and frontier science experiments, consumer convenience, sustainable occupation guidelines, resource-based distribution, and individual or community problem-solving.

With these three topics, one can understand, in any objective situation as opposed to unprovable philosophies, that these are the most important topics to consider and bring up in legislative or policy-forming conversations when making regulatory decisions that affect people, wildlife, plants, fungi, microorganisms, social norms, business options, political adversaries, family and childhood development, cultural traditions, and most importantly, the future vitality of our global community:

  1. Biological Security:

The first and most important priority for any lasting civilization is to protect all inhabitants of a planet, the biosphere, the thin layer, and the only place on earth where biology could even thrive; it's what people, animals, plants, fungi, and microorganisms (life) are made of.

The biosphere is what enables genetic cells, organisms, species, etc., to exist and evolve; this includes the microorganisms that [actually recycle] biological waste into nutrients (natural composting) and distribute via fungi for new life, like our crops and the plants that create oxygen for us to breathe.

If there were only one law, it would limit or ban any chemical science experiments and mass production of products, goods, infrastructure, and energy sources with volatile bi-products (pollutions) that unnaturally, often negatively, affect biology.

  2. Social Equality:

This is the second most important priority for governments to protect when individual opportunities are lacking; this includes social equity, freedom of religion, right to life/health/means to thrive(sustainably), justice, objective foundational education, social services, infrastructure, and a community for everyone to belong in and rely on, especially when childhood neglect leads to dysfunctional parents/upbringing.

It should be noted that absolute religious freedom for some philosophical religions can lead to biological neglect and resource mismanagement. For example, those who base their values on the idea of there being a prime creator/afterlife may have a tendency to defend their pollution-emitting and reproductive traditions when challenged by environmentalists, agnostic missionaries, and those who have a relationship with (an understanding of & respect for) reality (like the ecology of the biosphere).

  3. Economic Opportunities

(capitalism needs to come only after 1 & 2) - Financial means are the priority for most countries and an indicator of corruption. It's a tool for prosperity, though it's not a priority over Bio-security and Social Equality for honest elected leaders in transparent democracies.

It should be noted that absolute economic freedom(unchecked capitalism) for some industries can and will lead to biological security & social equality neglect. For example, those who base their values on the idea that controlling the narrative like, "it's technically recyclable"/"oil is just a fuel" or "they can choose where they work" may tend to defend their pollution-emitting and worker-exploiting traditions and manipulate public perspective when challenged by journalists and environmentalist(and thus misleading them into developing an ignorance stigma)

Bring up these three points in conversations when starting a new project, purchasing from businesses, or determining modern priorities if you intend to secure your community/planet's future vitality, and remember, biology can naturally adapt to weather and biological threats like viruses and predators, but not so much with long term, slow-acting chemical contamination to DNA nor political philosophy like bind-faith values patriotically wedged into legislation.
